Solace of Rumbak

We had a long walk today, from Shingo to Rumbak. Me and Nalini were chit-chatting the entire route from the base camp to Rumbak.

Super scared Nalini.. don't go by that smile.. :P
With Ashish and Coco, we reached earlier than rest all so we started helping the staff with the camps. I wanted to take a bath, but the cold conditions cancelled my idea. After setting the camps, it came to my mind the small hill besides the camp site that I climbed when we started the trek. I went there again.

Among the farms there I sat for about an hour listening to nature. I knew from tomorrow I will be back in network and connectivity, and lot of people after we reach Leh, so I wanted to stay here in silence, away from everyone. I dint wanted to go back!

The trek was ending. Alongside the bonfire created for tonight, people did small performance of dances. No one will forget Jose’s performance on amplifier. Once we were done, the stage was for our staff people to sing and dance on various Ladakhi songs they all sang together.
